Early Start: birth to 3 years
Early help makes a difference. If your baby or toddler is not reaching milestones, we can help you find out why and what support is available.
Who is Early Start for?
Infants and toddlers from birth to 36 months may be eligible if an evaluation shows a significant delay in how they move, talk, learn, play or relate to others, or if they have a condition that makes delays likely.
What to expect
- Several professionals may contact you to learn about your child. Your observations are part of the assessment.
- We complete intake within 45 days.
- If your child qualifies, you will work with a service coordinator on an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Services are often provided at home or in places your child already goes.
