How we would approach the redesign: an interactive moodboard, an interactive sitemap, and the components behind this sample. RFP scope items 2, 3 and 4.

Scope item 2

Moodboard: warm, calm, real people

Westside's current site feels corporate. The direction here is warmer and calmer: real families and adults, generous white space, plain words, and the Westside blues paired with a coastal green and a sunrise gold for warmth.

A mother and father laughing with their toddler on their lap
A therapist playing with a toddler during a play session
Tone
Friendly, clear, never clinical. Write like a caring neighbor.
Two adults in work aprons smiling together at their job A little girl laughing as she lies in the grass
Photography
Real moments, natural light, people looking at each other, not the camera.
A large, diverse group of families and neighbors gathered outside a home

Wireframes and homepage options

This sample homepage is option A: audience-first, with the four “I am...” paths above the fold and the most requested tasks right below. In the project, we would also present an option B built around a single “What do you need today?” search and task list, and test both with WRC families before choosing.
